Graham Allison, Director of the Belfer Center for Science and International Affairs, and R. Nicholas Burns, HKS Professor of the Practice of Diplomacy & International Politics, explore the historical significance of the Cuban Missile Crisis on its 50th anniversary. The discussion, cosponsored by the Belfer Center for Science and International Affairs, includes topics ranging from governmental transparency to the security implications of nuclear weaponries in Iran. Winners of the Belfer Center/Foreign Policy contest, “Lessons from the Cuban Missile Crisis,” are announced.
